Day 3 - July 20, 2001
NY to Joburg (Part 2)
Since there are so few people in the bubble (60 or so) it stays
very quite. However, it is also a small room that means it can
become quite noisy if a number of people start to talk. Midway
through the flight I was reminded of this when a number of people
woke up and turned out to be traveling in a large group (I believe
a church going to build an church somewhere in Africa). And to
think I was scared of the two small children fast asleep behind
me might be a problem. Anyway, since sleep was not an option and
it was approaching 8am in Joburg I decided to ask for a snack (a
decent croissant sandwich) and hoped this would ease the time transition.
Eventually the talking died down and I got a little more rest.
As we approached the African continent...
